This obviously is a very terrible view on any browser to see a long post to be squish into a single paragraph hence need some CSS code amendments. Here’s the code I amended for the style.css where the bolded text is the new addition

Currently I’m on a mac and running Adium IM that can connect to MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk & more and I always look into the preference to see if there is any privacy setting but fail to find but at last! I found the solutions from a MacRumors Forum!

Click the Privacy Settings instead of Preferences

Then you will find this

Select the “Allow only Contacts on my contact list”

Close it and you can only get messages from people in your contact list! NO MORE SPAM!

For people running MSN on Windows

The solution is simple.

1. Open MSN Messenger main window.
2. Click Options… on Tools window.
3. Switch to Privacy tab.
4. Select “All Other Users” in the My Allow List and click “Block>>” button. The “All Other Users” groups will appear in the My Block List list box.
5. Click OK to save your settings.

Now, only those who are on your contact list can send message to you and you are free of such spam now.

Works in Trillian also

1. Go To Preferences (Right click tray icon, Preferences)
2. Scroll down to “Identities & Connections” and select MSN “connection”. Under the MSN option select Privacy
3. Hidden amongst your contacts is the “All other users” contact in your “My Allow List”, select it and click on the “Block>>” button
4. Hit OK and voila, no more spam.

This video is to explain a little on what I think is the science behind how the DIY overflow siphoning system works.

Not sure if the explanation is 100% clear but it also shows the progress of the shrimp tank and how does it looks now after the “upgrades”.

The following had been modified
1. added a net over the overflow opening in replace of the sponge to allow more water in & prevent shrimps from going into the overflow tube opening.
2. Added a new plant & neon tetra fresh water fish
3. Cloudy water finally clears up after the upgrades & reduction of food given
4. Added a basket at the sump filter to disperse the water effectively over the sponge filter
5. Added a moss plant & 55 Watt light at the bottom sump

Using clear plastic tubes from the fish shop & white tapes for pipes connection.

This over flow is inspired by other youtube video on the overflow configuration with my little modification to better suit my shrimps :3

The DIY sump uses 3 pails with many holes at the bottom to drain water through them easily with 3 layers of filter medium.

Added a Ultraviolet UV pump in the sump to kill bacterias & germs plus a 3 meter water pump with adjustable valves to control the water flow.

Drilled a hole at the return pipe to prevent back flow in case the water pump stops running and caused a back flow from main tank.

Time taken to complete: 2 days

This primary for my own personal reference and future reinstallation purpose just in case I need to change a new laptop, I need to know all the details so that I won’t waste too much time meddling in printer drivers .

Firstly download the following drivers from this webpage

RPCS Driver New! Ver.7.61 06/09/2009 3,900 KB (For Microsoft Windows XP)

Download and unzip the files in a location familar to you (for the next step during the HAVE DISK)

Then follow the following installation steps to add new printer

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Printers & Faxes
2. Click Add Printer
3. Click Next
4. Select “Local Printer attached to this computer” with “Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer”
5. The wizard was unable to detect any Plug and Play printers. To install the printer manually, click next
6. Select “Create a new port” and Type of port choose “Standard TCP/IP Port”
7. Welcome to Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard
8. Enter Printer Name and Port Name both the same “Aficio2045” without quotes
9. Select have disk and select the folder where you unzipped the RPCS drivers
10. After adding the printer, test print and it’s DONE!

Now it’s purring like brand new! :3

Step 1.
Open a photograph

Step 2.
Open the action panel by ALT + F9

Step 3.
Click on the “Create New Action” button on th action panel

Step 4.
Give your new action script a name that you can identify with the action.

Step 5.
When the action had been created, by default the red color “record” button is depressed and ready to record every move you make

Step 6.
Press “T” to activate text and write your copyright statement, then press “CTRL + A” to select all and press the “align center” button you can do anything you like to the text that you like to do for all your photos, it will be recorded.

Step 7.
For copyright statement to look good in all kinds of background usually I use “color overlay” as white #ffffff and Drop Shadow

Step 8.
Press “ALT+F+S” to Save As a file type you desire anywhere you want

Step 9.
Press the rectangular “stop” button and the action script is completed.

Step 10.
To automate the action script, go File -> Automate -> Batch

Step 11.
Choose your source folder where all your raw photographs are saved (backup in other folder just in case)

Step 12.
Choose your destination folder (different folder from source) where the stamped photos will be saved, put the 2nd file name selection as “3 digit serial number” to get filenames that look like this “file01.jpg, file02.jpg, file03.jpg” you can append “_” behind the “Document Name” to be “Document Name_” to look like this “file_01.jpg, file_02.jpg”

You can rename ALL THE FILES to your favorite name such as “Sentosa_” + “3 Digit Serial Number” + “extension” to get “Sentosa_01.jpg, Sentosa_02.jpg…” and etc.

The Digit Serial Number can choose depending on how many images you have, if it’s less then 100 then use “2 Digit Serial Number”

Step 13.
Click Ok and watch all your images open, stamp copyright, save and close by it self automatically and Photoshop will work do it regardless of the numbers. RELAX ONE CORNER YAY!
