Solar Eclipse Projected Path by NASA

On Monday, April 13, 2009 at 10:04 AM, I had received another spam email and it looks pretty interesting at first glance and yes it’s scary to think about it but more and more evidence are pouring out that this warning MAY be real but it may highly exaggerated the extend the reach of the Tsunami.
The email is as follows.
Hi,
Please be more cautious as the warnings has been given.
Attached a photo for u.
I just received this message from a colleague. I don’t know the source of the message; I also don’t know the credibility of the content, but just beware.
“Hello there. I just wanted 2 let you know that please stay away from the beaches all around in the month of July. There is a prediction that there will be another tsunami hitting on July 22nd. It is also when there will be sun eclipse.
Predicted that it is going 2 be really bad and countries like Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), Singapore, Maldives, Australia, Mauritius, Si Lanka, India, Indonesia, Philippines are going 2 be badly hit.
Please try and stay away from the beaches in July. Better 2 be safe than sorry. Please pass the word around. Please also pray for all beings.”
Thanks and have a nice day.
Bless you~
Further research on the background of the warning I found some media such as the Singapore’s attempt to discredit the warning.
The last few days had been a furry of events that had occurred made me feel a little uneasy.
- NASA Announced the solar eclipse on the 22nd July 2009 – Notice that the image used is almost identical as the ones used above!! (This indicating the warning might be from someone inside NASA or just another excited astronomer trying to be a prophet?)
- 15th July 2009 – New Zealand earthquake with minor Tsunami – I am shocked beyond belief that there is such an event even happening SO CLOSED to the date 22nd July 2009 of the predicted day of major earth quake that may cause a major Tsunami.
Check out the latest earthquakes in the last 7 days!!

However, my belief is Singapore is well protected from the threat of an earthquake-generated tsunami because it is not directly exposed to open ocean but surrounded by a number of land masses.
A study completed in December 2008, by the Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore, showed that a tsunami generated by rupture of a very large earthquake fault beneath the South China Sea would take about 10 hours to reach Singapore by which time most of the wave energy would have dissipated, resulting in only a moderate rise in sea level (less than a metre).
But does that means the following countries might be worst off?
- Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak),
- Maldives,
- Australia,
- Mauritius,
- Si Lanka,
- India,
- Indonesia,
- Philippines
My guts tells me 22nd July 2009 may be the point where things starts to get slightly hairy, so try the best to stay away as far away from coastal regions as possible.
