Western Union Declines 5% Of Google AdSense Payments This Month

I had received an email from google Adsense today saying that my western union payment for November 2 is not successful and asked me to re-enable the Adsense setting for Western Union.

After much digging online, I found the following.

Google announced this in their Google AdSense Help forums saying:

We’re expanding the number of Western Union payments that we’re sending through our new payments system this month, primarily to publishers in the Asia-Pacific region.  A small number (~5%) of the payments we sent to publishers in the following countries were incorrectly declined by Western Union and need to be re-issued.  No action is required on your part.  We are working with Western Union to complete the configuration changes and will automatically reissue the payments.  We expect to complete this in the next 24 hours.

Affected countries:
  • Egypt
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Cambodia
  • China
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Nepal
  • Pakistan
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
Thanks for your patience, and we’re working to resolve this quickly.

Previous western union & Adsense problem that I had encountered is the sudden change in Google sender address to Ireland instead of USA, this cause much confusion & hold up in the queue lines of our local western union pick up.

The possible solutions to all these headaches are automatic emails to all affected users to go to the latest google product forum with the latest updates on the Adsense issue.

This will reduce the panic attacks & frustrations of publishers around the world if there is any sudden changes to their google Adsense payments.
